Evidence-Based Conservation

The Centre for Evidence-Based Conservation (CEBC) was established in 2003 with the goal of supporting decision making in conservation and environmental management. A Research and Dissemination Unit, based at Bangor University, Wales, CEBC promotes evidence-based practice through the production and dissemination of systematic reviews on both the effectiveness of management and policy interventions and on the impact of human activities on the natural environment.

Conservationevidende.com – This website collates information on the effectiveness of conservation practice. It includes hundreds of case studies on a range of subjects including habitat restoration, invasive species management, reintroduction, species management and habitat management.
